The Division is composed of seven Kiwanis Clubs which are located in Rensselaer County in the beautiful Hudson Valley of upstate New York. The members of these clubs take part in a variety of service projects for their communities and have fund raising activities to support these projects. Fifth Division Council Meeting - May 15

The Fifth Division Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 15, will be hosted by the Hoosick Falls Kiwanis Club. The meeting will be held at the Hoosick Falls Country Club and will begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information, see the Division Meeting Flyer.

Castleton - Schodack Kiwanis Club Memorial Day Breakfast May 28

The Castleton-Schodack Kiwanis Club will be holding a pancake breakfast before the Memorial Day Parade in Castleton on Monday, May 28, to raise monies for its community service programs. The pancake breakfast will be served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Castleton Volunteer Ambulance Building in Castleton. The breakfast will be free for Veterans, $6.00 for other adults, and $4.00 for children. For more information, call 732-2225.

Van Rensselaer Division Annual Benefit Golf Tournament - June 2

The Kiwanis Clubs of the Van Rensselaer Division invite you to participate in their Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on June 2, 2012. The Tournament will be held at the Burden Lake Country Club, 162 Totem Lodge Road, Averill Park, NY. The funds raised will help to maintain community programs and continue Kiwanis's mission of “Serving the Children of the World”.

Fifth Division Council Meeting - June 5

The Fifth Division Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 5, will be hosted by the Troy Kiwanis Club. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., and will be held at the Margo Krause Center (part of the Eddy), 2212 Burdett Ave, Troy. The food menu will consist of dessert only, so be sure to eat supper before attending the meeting. More information will be provided when it is available.

Division Evening at a Tri-City ValleyCats Game - July 23

A social event is being organized for the Van Rensselaer Division at the ValleyCats game on Monday, July 23, 2012. The club that has the most members and friends attending the game will be able to select someone to throw a First Pitch! Premium tickets will be available for $9.50 ($2 savings) to Kiwanis members, friends, and family. Tickets can be ordered in a group for the whole club or by each member separately.
