The Division is composed of seven Kiwanis Clubs which are located in Rensselaer County in the beautiful Hudson Valley of upstate New York. The members of these clubs take part in a variety of service projects for their communities and have fund raising activities to support these projects. Information about upcoming events in the Division is provided below.



Van Rensselaer Division Second Annual Pot Luck Tailgate Picnic & Theater Social - Saturday, July 24

On Saturday, July 24, enjoy the food and company of other Van Rensselaer Division Kiwanians while you share your contribution to the pot luck meal before the live production of the great Agatha Christie classic, Spider's Web. Spider's Web is a whodunnit filled with comical characters and murderous intrigue. As a web of deceit startsto unravel, Christie's heroine pulls her friends into a desperate race to unveil the murderer and solve the mystery. Division Fun Day - Bowling and Tennis

The Tennis Activities will take place at the tennis courts at Averill Park High School from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Joe Beshon and Noreen Barrett will direct the tennis activities. Tennis rackets will be available if people do not have their own rackets.

Bowling will take place at the Spare Time Bowling Center in East Greenbush beginning at 4:00 pm. The cost for bowling will be $2.50 per game and the shoe rental will be $2,50.



New York District Kiwanis Convention: Aug. 19-22, 2010

The New York District Conventions will be held on Aug. 19-22, 2010, in Binghamton, NY. For more information see New York District Convention.




Divisional Picnic - Saturday, September 11, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

. All members of the Kiwanis Family (Kiwanis, Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club, and K-Kids) and their families are invited to attend the picnic.

  • Hot dogs, sausages, hamburgers, salads, and desert will be available
  • Bring your own drinks (No alcohol)
  • Bring your own games

Let's get together for some fun!!! More information about the picnic will be provided in the middle of August.
