  The Clove Run is held in the Schodack Island State Park and the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Clove Run offers runners the opportunity to participate in a 15 K race, a 5 K race, and a 1 mile Family Fun Run. We believe that the Clove Run helps to bring the community closer together by providing opportunities for families and friends to socialize in active and healthy ways. Donations and race registrations help support the race's beneficiary, the CCMS Anchor, a worthy non-profit food pantry in Castleton that assists the area's lowest-income families. Last year's race resulted in a donation of about $3,000 to the Anchor. Racers are asked to contribute canned goods for the Anchor. |
