Information About the East Greenbush Kiwanis
Club
Kiwanians from the other clubs in the Van Rensselaer Division
have helped form a new Kiwanis Club in the East Greenbush area. Every day
Kiwanians throughout the world are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing
youth-sports programs, tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless
other projects to help children and communities. Thus, the new club will be a
valauble asset to the East Greenbush community.
Twenty-five members are
required for a new club to be chartered by Kiwanis International, and the East
Greenbush Club now has 30 members. Organizational meetings have been held for
new club. The officiers for the club have been elected, the bylaws for the club
have been passed, and it was decided that the club will meet at 6:00 p.m.on the
2nd and 4th Wednesday's of the month. The yearly dues for the club and the
permanent meeting location for the club have not yet been determined.
