ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Upcoming Doors of Hope on March 9 and March 17. Dave Booker, Dudley Dorr, Nancy W. Davis Jerry Tysiak and Bob Pasquarelli all worked on the last Doors of Hope on February 17th.
On March 11 the Divisional Council Meeting will be held at Castleton, place of meeting not yet announced but we will let you know . We have 10 members signed up to go.
The Dissipated 8 are coming in April. They are a national known a cappella group from Middlebury College. Please pan to join us at the high school for this great entertainment.
Don't forget to mark your calendars for Sand Lake Summerfest to be held on July 10 and July 11.
Rensselaer Club celebrates its 80 th Anniversary on Saturday, March 21, 2009 President Claire Dalton extends and invitation. Gov.-Elect Dave Booker to MC the event. Mark your calendar, details to fallow, Let's make it an Interclub Visit.
John Brownrigg is still collecting playing cards for the soldiers in Afghanistan.

PERFECT ATTENDANCE AWARD Dudley Dorr received his 40 year perfect attendance pin which he would have received last week but he wasn't here.
BIRTHDAYS: Today is Eve Ward's
Birthday and after all the years of her making the birthday cakes we sang a
warm rendition of “ Happy Birthday” to her.

PROGRAM: We had the Editor of
Greenbush Life, Jennifer O'Brien and it's Advertising Manager Dana Homich to
tell us
about this very
good
local newspaper which got started this past September. It focuses on being the
“Community Conversation Paper”
bringing us the happenings in our area including East Greenbush, Defreestville,
Schodack and North Greenbush. This paper carries five stories of local
interest each week The Paper has a section called Movers and Shakers and so
far it has featured three of our members, Bryce Cutler, Jo Moccia and Paul
Vincent. Or as Jerry said almost three of our members. We just need Paul
Vincent to join us. The paper is always looking for stories so if you know of
something please give them a call. If you or any organization that you are
involved in needs some advertising or you want to get some advance notice to
our area just give either Jennifer or Dana a call at 270-1281 or 270 1241.

$ John Brownrigg- HVCC newspaper did a story on his talks about his trip to Vietnam with Bob Reiter
$ Dale Hall- Lt. Gov Liz has made National Honor Society and Megan Sanzo has made the Dean's List at Casanovia.
$ Jim Rogers said that Dave did a good job at the conference and also that he and Joanne had a nice time. Also Jim was very pleased that 5 out of the 6 clubs in Van Rensselaer filed for the PR Patch and Jim has them to pass out.
