WELCOME BACK:  Bob Pasquarelli and Bill Whipple. Kay-Leigh and Jim Stacy       

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         We received many Thank You notes

§  Gail Griffith for the use of our tent at Dick Johnsen's

§  Doors of Hope  thanking us for the extra food that we gave at the end of Summerfest

§  From our graduates Marley Blessingheim the Memorial Award, Brianna Bonesteel the Votec Award, Ashley Haggerty the Jeffrey S. Uline Award

·         We are looking for  any extra bottles of booze for the Van Rensselaer Division Hospitality Suite. Deliver them to Dave Booker or Jerry and they will take care of them.

·         If anyone is interested in going out to dinner on Friday August 21 call Jerry.

·         We will be having a Social Event , a tailgate party and stage performance Saturday Aug. 29 starting at 3:30 at the parking area of the New Lebanon Theater Barn. the play will be Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Again Call Booker

·         Nancy W. Davis is requesting help at the Doors of Hope this Friday  August 7. Meet at the Java Beanery.

·         Joe Cybulski reminding us of the Music in the Park Every Sunday in August. If raining the performance will be at the Sand Lake center for the Arts.

·         Eve Ward reminds us that the Steak and Lobster Picnic will be held at the Camp Rotary on Monday Aug, 24 6 pm Call Eve

·                     Kay-Leigh Stacy Brought is a check for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit . She  gave is 18 % of what was made doing the Soccer Clinics

PROGRAM: Joe Cybulski presented a fine program on Publicity.  He explained that in most venues he is limited to 200 words and that all items sent for publicity must be in time for their deadlines. .He told us of the 7 Deadly Sins of Publicity and also that the main goal of publicity is to show a Positive Image and develop  favorable relations with the media that we faithfully use. Joe has done a wonderful job getting the word out about our activities.

HAPPY DOLLARS:

$     Bob Pasquarelli for his wonderful trip to  visit his son and family in Houston. His  grandson just completed a summer internship at NASA

$     Dave Booker is very happy that he has a new car 

$     Jim Rogers thanking Eve for arranging and handling the tickets for our Valley Cats game.

$     Jim Stacy  for attending a family reunion up in the Adirondacks.

$     Pat Lane  for her upcoming schooner trip.

$     Barb Fioravanti for her family reunion in New Hampshire

$     Dick Johnsen enjoyed the play " The Producers" at Columbia HS that was directed by a local fellow

$     Jerry Tysiak for the wonderful concert by  " The Reverberates."

$     Joe Cybulski told us that Shorty was in the hospital but is now home.

$     Bill Whipple had a wonderful trip to Milwaukee to visit his daughter  and even took his 8 year old Granddaughter.
