PROGRAM

Dave Booker, soon to be SLK’s secretary again, gave a power point presentation demonstrating how to use the club software.  He illustrated how to access information about membership, meetings, interclubs, and other information.  He showed how to sign up to work on projects, update personal information, and create biographies.  It looks so easy when Dave does it!

HAPPY DOLLARS

$     Barb:  Went to an East Greenbush Club meeting with Jillian and Molly, where the Columbia HS Key Club sponsorship was discussed.  The transfer has been started!

$     Eve:  Thanks for tonight’s program.  Proud to announce that my grandson Ethan scored a 97 on his first Physics test at Oneonta!

$     Bob L:  For my Dad coming with me tonight, and for Jerry and his crew and all the work they did on the Butler Park stage!

$     Ken J:  Thanks for the surprise party last week, and for including my daughter, too!

$     John B:  The East Greenbush Club planted 900 tulip bulbs in town; thanks to the Key Club for all their help!

$     Jim R:  Had a nice 4 days in Hammondsport touring the wineries.  After much deliberation, Joanne has finally bought a Honda CR-V!  [Is it red?  ED]

$     Jim C:  Wonderful weekend visiting grandchildren!  Both of us Jims are wearing the uniform of the day—blue Kiwanis shirts—are we “Jim-in-eyes”?  And we finally got some RAIN!

$     Jerry:  Glad Ray is here tonight—thanks to all who helped fix up the stage, and to Ray and the 2 others who built it!

$     John M:  Glad Pat is finally home after 10 days in Mexico!  And happy to learn that AP Key Club has a new advisor, Jackie Gerace (sp?), a former KC Lt Gov!

$     Booker:  Attended the Black & White Ball in Great Neck, and attended my last official Governor’s visit to the Suffolk East Division—the farthest east you can go on Long Island without getting wet!—and had to eat a 3 lb lobster and a filet mignon!

$     P-E Skip:  Thanks to all who volunteered for projects during my year as Pres-Elect!

$     Pres Gary:  My poor pussycat had an abscess on her jaw, and after a battle getting her into the carrier, I took her to the vet.  [Graphic descriptions of the infection and treatment deleted in the interest of good digestion!  ED] The visit cost $270 which was in addition to the $1500 I’ve already spent on her!

First Time Ever – a clean sweep of all the drawings!!  Eve’s ticket was pulled for each of the three prizes:  the Door Prize donated by Booker, the $21 50/50, and the Mega 50/50!  That’s where her luck ran out, though, because the King of Clubs eluded her!  She pulled the 4 of Spades from the 31 cards.  The $355 will have to grow and maybe someone else will win it next week!  There are rumors of an impending investigation!
