ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Jerry has proposed having an Adopt – A – Sponsor evening to thank all those who have supported us in our many projects over the last year. Call Jerry if you have any Questions. 286-0795 the proposed date is Nov. 30.

• Thank you to Bill Whipple and Bob Pasquarelli for installing the Kiwanis Sign at the roof peak on the stage at Butler Park.

• Nancy W. Davis reminded us that the Doors of Hope next delivery date will be Fri. Oct. 9. We do need unloaders and people to help put the food away. 9ish at the Java Beanery.

• Eve Ward, You must contact Eve immediately if you wish to attend the Installation Dinner next Monday. 674-2994

• Joe Behson has signup sheets for the Soccer Food Trailer. We are ok for Oct. 4 but need additional people for Oct. 11 and Oct. 18. Please come and give us a few hours of your time. Call Joe at 527-9685

• Interclubs we have many coming up as all Clubs will be having installations. Here is a chance to do a Round Robin.

Hoosick Falls - interclub to support their program speaker for the evening, Joe Cybulski, on Tuesday October 20 at 6 PM at the Falls Dinner, Route 22, Hoosick Falls.  Going are Peg Weiss, Eve Ward and Dave Booker.

PROGRAM:      Nancy W. Davis invited Gail De Marco from the League of Woman Voter and tell us about the Fall Election, a Voting Machine Update and information on what the aims and goals are of the League of Women Voters. Be sure to check out our local libraries . They have some informative handouts on all of their programs and this year's election.

$ Bob Carpenter to tell us that KVP is smarter than he is because he goes to Florida in the winter not in September when it is hot, hot, hot.

$ Dave Booker – his year has yet to start and he drove 800 plus miles last weekend and loved every minute of it.

$ Jim Rogers, Good Program, Jerry's great year and today is his 72 nd Birthday.

$ John Mulligan his 13 year old granddaughter who attend Algonquin Middle School participated in a Cross Country Meet on Saturday  She came in 15th and 1st for her school.

$ Jerry Tysiak,  For his year being almost over. Think how fast that year went.

$ Bill Whipple for having   a nice visit with KVP and finding out about past secrets.

50/50 for $17.00  & won by Jerry Tysiak who donated it to the Adopt a Sponsor Evening.   

MEGA 50/50 worth $ 152.50 with cards 43 left in the deck was not won by Eve Ward even though she had John Brownrigg pull the card for her (she once picked the card for John after he had left the meeting and WON for him) and he pulled the 7 of Spades.
