WELCOME BACK: Skip Patton after he and Nancy returned from visiting their son in Chile.             

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*Joe Behson; Thank you to Bill Kieley for transporting the soccer trailer to APHS  and thank you to Jim Colabelli for returning the trailer back to Bob Pasquarelli’s House. Thank you to 1st shift workers Jerry Tysiak, Eve Ward and Joe Behson and thank you to 2nd shift workers Nancy Davis, Peg Weiss and Bob Loveridge. As always, thank you to Bob Pasquarelli for preparing the trailer with supplies.  Sign- up sheets  were past to fill empty slots for the up coming weeks. Please volunteer if you haven’t done so already

*Nancy Davis; Thank you to the following people who showed up to unload the 

        Door’s of Hope Food Truck this last Friday; Jim Parslow, Angelo Patti, Dudley Dorr, Nancy Davis and Jerry Tysiak. Sign-up sheets were passed.

*Ray Turner; For interclubs, the following people have signed up for an interclub to the Castleton Kiwanis Club on Wed. Oct. 14th. ; Pres. Gary, IPP Jerry, Peg Weiss, Bob Loveridge and Pat Lane.

*IPP Jerry;  Our Past Pres. Jerry recognized Interclub Chair Ray Turner for all the  hard work he did in the 2008-2009 year making it possible for us to have inter-clubs. He was presented with gifts and a certificate of appreciation by IPP Jerry.

NO PROGRAM TONIGHT: This due to tonight’s scheduled Board Meeting.  

 

HAPPY DOLLARS:

 $ Jim Rogers; Happy that his grandson made 4 goals playing soccer and happy         that the  River Rats are HOT by winning their last two games while scoring 11 goals.

 $ Joe Benson; Happy that the Jets and the Giants are in 1st place and the Yankees are still going.      

$ Dick Johnsen; Happy that Christopher Columbus, his crew and sponsors were brave enough to make the journey to discover the ”New World”.

$ Skip Patton; Happy that he had a great trip to Chile to visit son Scott even though he was experiencing problems with his left eye. Skip was also happy that they had a safe return trip after initially having engine problems with  the plane that was to carry them home.

$ Pres Gary; Happy that he was able to find out more information about his son Major Kevin Meislin’s trip to  Israel in the newsletter The Post describing the importance of this trip while meeting with Israeli Defence Command.

$ John Brownrigg; Happy with an anticipation dollar that it will be a great Series with the Phillies and Oakland playing?

 

DOOR PRIZE: 1 Dinner won by Gov. Dave

50/50 Worth $20, ticket picked by Pat Lane and won by our guest Bryce Ginther. 

 MEGA 50/50 now worth $167 and when Bob Pasquarelli’s ticket was picked by Bryce Ginther it was the 4 of Diamonds that Bob pulled from among the 50 cards.
