REPORT ON SOCCER FOOD TRAILER: Yesterday was the final Sunday of this season, and thanks to all who worked so hard for the last 8 weeks, we have realized about $3100! Thanks to those who worked the final day: Bill Kieley who brought the trailer to the field, workers Dick Johnsen, Woodie Hacker, Skip Patton, Ken James, Pat Lane, & Bob Loveridge, and Bill Whipple who took the trailer back to Pasquarelli’s. Final cleanup of the trailer before winter storage will be at Bob’s this Saturday at 10 AM. Many hands will make it a quicker job.
REPORT ON ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY: Last Saturday morning 9 SLKs, plus 14 Scouts from Troop 526, and 11 Key Clubbers from both Averill Park and Columbia High Schools, picked up lots of interesting trash along both sides of Rt 351 between Rt 43 and Rt 66. Thanks, everyone, especially Dudley Dorr, Dick Johnsen, Barb Fioravanti, John Mulligan, Bob Carpenter, Bryce Ginther, Bill Whipple, Nancy Davis, and Skip Patton.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Skip Patton has order forms for Citrus Sales. Every member needs to participate on this important fund raiser for the Club. For every 10 cartons sold, the seller receives one free. The community is very receptive to this project, and people have been asking for it. We all need to get out and collect all those pre-paid orders!
A note of thanks with a $50 donation was received from Salem UMC for the use of our tent at their recent fair.
The Bicentennial Committee sent their thanks for our support of their recent activities.
