Attendance Make Up Credits

A missed meeting may be made up by participation in an official Kiwanis activity (fundraiser; service project; attendance at a regular meeting of the club’s board of directors; attendance at another club’s regular meeting; attending a meeting of a Sand Lake Kiwanis Club committee; attendance at an official activity of the Van Rensselaer Division, the NY District or Kiwanis International [i.e. council meetings, conventions, training conferences, board meetings or the like] – see the club secretary if there is a question about a specific activity). 

Current Kiwanis International regulations set the period during which this absence maybe made up includes the month during which a meeting is missed, or the week immediately before or after that month.

As a member of the Sand Lake Kiwanis Club you may visit any club in the world.  Many of our members enjoy attending the meetings of local Kiwanis Clubs while traveling on vacation or business.
